Justyna Kuklo
Justyna Kuklo is a Polish figurative painter who employs traditional oil painting techniques. She graduated from the Gdańsk Academy of Fine Arts in Poland and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels, Belgium.
Her primary inspiration comes from observing human gestures and postures, whether individuals are alone or in couples. She studies life's casual moments and celebrates them as a ritual on her canvas. The recurring motifs in her work are human hands, which she sees as living proof of human labor and effort.
Her models' postures convey a silent language, inviting reflection and serenity.
Justyna Kuklo avoids painting portraits that gaze at us from the corner of their eye. Instead, she encourages viewers to engage with the composition, allowing room for them to discover the identity of the character(s) in the artwork.

Justyna Kuklo has exhibited in Poland, the Czech Republic, France, Spain, and Monaco. Justyna Kuklo lives and works in Brussels.
